Face-to-Face
Teaching days

Face-to-face teaching days for Scottish vascular surgery trainees are held twice a year over a span of two days. Led by consultant vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, these comprehensive events offer interactive lectures, workshops, and case discussions. They also serve as a platform to connect with a network of professionals in the field.

Cadaveric
Dissection

The cadaveric teaching days are an immersive and practical learning experience specifically designed for vascular surgery trainees. These courses offer a hands-on opportunity to perform surgical dissection at the University of Dundee. The training days are led by experienced faculty members who provide an in-depth exploration of anatomical structures targeted at all training levels.

Endovascular
Training days

Our endovascular training days are expertly designed programs conducted by vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists, in close collaboration with stent manufacturers. These educational sessions provide a comprehensive understanding of endovascular planning and equipment fundamentals. Participants have the opportunity to enhance their skills through hands-on practice using cutting-edge simulators.

ASPIRE

The Vascular Society of the UK delivers ASPIRE training days, offering focused and concise educational sessions. These dynamic programs provide vascular trainees with valuable insights and updates on the latest advancements in the field. Led by renowned experts, ASPIRE training days cover essential topics and techniques through interactive lectures, case discussions, and hands-on workshops. Participants gain practical skills and evidence-based knowledge to enhance their practice and deliver optimal patient care.
